Our Approach

At E & K Cabinetry we take a unique approach to woodwork. Most cabinets you find today are mass produced in large plants and often made of low quality materials. We believe in the old-fashioned way of woodworking where a finished product has quality, character, and a unique distinction. We hand-make all of our work and hold ourselves to the highest standards. These are the things that set us apart from the competition.

About the Owner

I am a family man (#GIRLDAD) with over 13 years of experience with woodworking. I have worked for several cabinet shops in the area including my father-in-law's custom cabinet shop. After working in the industry for years I decided to purchase my own shop along with the equipment needed for a wide range of projects.

I have always had a passion for woodworking which has lead to it becoming my career. My long-term plans include growing and operating E & K Cabinetry until retirement. I have learned a lot from my father-in-law, but have new ideas for the business. I look forward to meeting and working with you in the future.

Our Shop

Located in Murfreesboro TN, the shop has always been owned by family and the trade has been passed down to the newest generation. Although the original owner is retired, he still comes around the shop daily and assists with some of our projects. E & K originally did all of Swanson’s work, along with a few other big builders in Murfreesboro before growing into the business that now exists. Some of the work included the Gateway Apartments for the new Murfreesboro hospital.
